Thumb sucking related to ADHD?

Hi there,I cannot find much research on the topic of thumb sucking or if it is somehow related to ADHD. I'm wondering if there is anyone else out there that can relate?I've been a thumb sucker all my life.  I never outgrew it, much to my mother's dismay and futile shaming.  It is very soothing to me.  And therefore I crave it.  I once read that the pressure on the roof of the mouth may be dopamine releasing which is why babies in the womb may do it.  It would explain why my habit has persisted…See More

Finally medicated!!!

So today is my 3rd day on dexamphetamines, after only close to 5 years of waiting, it finally happened!!!obviously ive been started on a small dose and will be slowly fine tuning how much and how often i take these little pills.It was a strange experience coming home from Dr K (who first helped me with my diagnosis when i was 19) with a prescription, just enough for the first few weeks of course. Im not sure how many of you know how the system works is Aus for these kind of medications, and I…See More
